About Us
Dreampower was born 25 years ago, from the vision and creativity of Shari Woods. Shari is he mother of five creative children.(now all grown up) Shari understood the important role of imaginative play in kids lives and development.
Shari designed and hand-sewed her first costume masterpieces for her own children. They received such praise and interest from other kids and their parents, that she quickly saw the demand for her unique costume designs.
Dreampower was an immediate hit!
Sixteen years ago, after graduating with a degree in Fine Arts, daughter Sarah joined the Dream-life! Now Sarah is the mother of two children, eight year old Maya and four year old Macy. They provide a great deal of inspiration
Shari and Sarah use the finest fabrics, and original designs to create heirloom quality, everyday-wearable dress-up clothes. Our costumes are sold online, at craft shows, and at our studio in Waterloo by appointment.
